Over 5,000 festivalgoers are to revel in the most colourful experience to come to Birmingham for the very first time in 2015. THE COLOR FESTIVAL hits The Rainbow Open Air Arena on May 23rd 2015.
From 2pm-12am, Birmingham will open its gates to welcome revellers to ‘The Happiest Festival in the World’ – a huge daytime music festival, with a big-hearted supply of street food and drink from Digbeth Dining Club, big beats from a massive full line-up and bags of coloured powder to throw into the air.
Organisers, Little Bigfoot Promotions, said:
“We brought the festival to the UK for the first time last year in Cardiff, which turned out to be a huge success! We were delighted to welcome international artists to grace our decks including Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Redlight, SecondCity and The Golden Boy. Due to popular demand, we’re bringing the event to more cities across the UK, and we are excited to announce The Color Festival is coming to Birmingham this year!”
DJ Fresh, known most recently for his ultimate dance track ‘Gravity’ featuring Ella Eyre, has been confirmed as the first big name to join a banging line-up, alongside the young and rapidly rising DJ and Producer Shift K3Y and Radio 1 favourites Tough Love, who are currently topping the UK Dance Charts with ‘So Freakin’ Tight.’ A full line-up is to be revealed in the coming weeks!
More than half of all tickets have sold out already, and The Color Festival Birmingham is well on its way to becoming a sold out event.
