Welcome to the thirty-third instalment of our fortnightly series: The Kings of Kickstarter. Replacing the middleman with the crowdfunding community, design flourishes. Our last Kings did not disappoint, flexing their entrepreneurial spirit by repurposing abandoned forts as canvases and capturing cities at their emptiest. As per usual, NUBI has procured 5 Kings (and of course one jester) and presented them below. Ranked in descending order, only one can claim the title of Supreme Overlord.
#5. Stunning Retro Space Travel Posters – The Truth
“Museum quality prints & journals featuring inspirational artwork celebrating humanity’s imagination & the future of space exploration.”
When NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab released these ridiculously dope concept travel posters last month, the first thing we tried was hijacking the office printer in a series of attempts to have physical copies. Besides getting in trouble for gobbling up the ink, we simply couldn’t get the quality we desired. Enter The Truth, with a simple campaign for the Kickstarter community offering the full range of posters printed to museum quality standards on thick, durable, archival, acid-free matte paper.
Alongside this, a 300 page journal featuring one of the images is also an option, so depending on whether you are adorning your office or need to up your stationery game, you’re covered. The posters are available three of sizes – depending on how much wall space you have free – 12″ x 8″, 18″ x 24″ or 24″ x 36″ and either frame ready or in frame, it boils down to how much you want to spend.
