A new trailer has surfaced for upcoming film ‘The Land’ from Executive Producer Nasir Jones. With the trailer featuring appearances from Erykah Badu and Machine Gun Kelly, it is slated for a US release date of 29th July 2016.

The Film premiered at the last Sundance and is described as:

“More than a crime drama, The Land is a beautifully rendered story about friendship, values, and what it means for disaffected youth to come of age on the streets of Cleveland.”

Telling the story of four teenage boys who spend the summer trying to escape the streets of Cleveland in pursuit of their dream of becoming professional skateboarders. But things take a dramatic turn when they get dragged into the local drug Queen-pin’s web, pushing the limits of their friendship and resolve to the brink.

Also starring the outrageously talented Michael K. Williams – who played the chilling Omar in The Wire – the film also features a soundtrack also produced by NaS. The gritty thriller is the debut from Director Steven Caple Jr. and judging from the trailer this looks set to be a thrilling ride through ‘hood and brotherhood alike.Land
