We had the privilege to attend the hottest, most exciting and secret event of the year to come to Birmingham earlier this week, the Sony Xperia Z3 Launch Party! Taking place at BOXXED in Digbeth, the event was highly anticipated from the moment of arrival when a gleaming heap of light blue neon light shining from the entrance brightened the street and all the people waiting, as well as the high security presence.
The layout of the venue consisted of various stalls and stands, displaying the latest sleek Xperia phone model, along with its features and specifications, in particular, the sound ability. The Z3 comes with a built-in digital noise cancelling technology that reduces exterior noise when listening to music or watching videos on the device by 98%, when paired with the MDR-NC31EM headset, and it was incredible! I literally couldn’t hear a single beat from the over-wired stage and it’s gigantic speakers standing within 5 metres of them with the headset on. As well as this you also have the Hi-Res Audio and DSEE HX (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) that come as standard with the device, almost expect from Sony due to their unparalleled advanced designs and device capabilities.
As well as the other fashionable features and specs including waterproof protection, the most amazing camera that I’ve seen on a mobile, and additional hardware to further enhance this, you have the prime reason that the event was filled with tech-heads as well as the average every-day gamer, the PS4 Remote PLAY. The mind-blowing high definition display and graphic on the Sony TV’s paired up with the PS4 is itself incredible, but to match this quality when the display is through the Z3, playing your PS4 anywhere in the world, is truly something only Sony could pull off.
With the buzz of hundreds of people, 6 huge TVs hooked up to PS4’s with the latest games constantly surrounded by people in awe, a motioned censored waterfall, various mobiles and tablets stationed around the area, and a highly energetic performance from rising Sony Music artist Raleigh Ritchie, the night was truly incredible, and undoubtedly paralleled the exceptional quality that Sony ensure are embedded at the core of all their products and features.
