Welcome to the third edition of our new weekly series; The Kings of Kickstarter.  Last week in celebration of E3, NUBI brought you 5 crowdfunded, boundary pushing games.  From the sassy blind lead protagonist of Perception to the slice of madness that is We Happy Few, there was a lot to look forward to.  This week, we are back with another mixed bag of  5 Kings ranging from quirky to genius (and of course one jester).  So without further ado and in no particular order…..

#5. Time Machine Tees – Alicia Mundy

Time Machine Tees are all-over printed t-shirts featuring photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries transformed with vibrant colours, bringing the photos back to life.”Screen Shot 2015-06-24 at 16.27.53Alicia Mundy, a first year graphic designer, has combined 3 of her passions in photography, history and design and wrapped the outcome round a tee.  Sifting through old archive pictures from the 19th and 20th century, she has managed to more than just re-colour them but repurpose them too.  Photographs that may have never seen the light of day now get to see it and in glorious colour.  With 5 initial designs, Tasiusaq (1889), Rauma (1927), Stongfjorden (1907), Lahti (1935) and Arsuk (1889), these run of the mill photographs suddenly have an air of the iconic about them.  With a little history behind each one, it would be great to see this backed just to see what other designs she digs up!
